A SUSTAINABLE clothing designer has moved into a shop space in Stroud after trialling a pop-up store.
Shalize Nichola, 26, set up her own brand, Madia & Matilda after studying fashion.
Her new shop floor in John Street which she opened in May is next to the electrical bike shop, eCycle UK.
Her autumnal range of vintage and upcycled attire shows off an array of designs. Shalize has also diversified into selling haberdashery products.
To boost online sales Shalize is working with Style & Trashion blogger Kenny to give her brand more exposure.
Meanwhile her team does alterations for garments to prolong the life of an item of clothing.
Excess material is not wasted. Instead seamstresses create bunting and small items with it.
