PARENTS of a six-month old who died of a rare neuromuscular condition 12 years ago raised over £500 for charity.
Jason and Laura Turk organised the gig in memory of their baby daughter Isabel who they lost to Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
Since then they have been committed to fundraising for SMA Support UK hosting a Summer Ball each year as well as other fundraisers.
To date they have raised £101,314 for the charity which offers free confidential information, emotional support and practical advice guidance to anyone affected by SMA.
Their most recent charitable event was a gig at The Crown and Sceptre in Horns Road, Stroud on Saturday, September 24.
It featured bands including Reverend Stretch, John and Heidi Dalton and Sean Hourihan.
The Turk’s next fundraiser will be a fashion show at The Vault restaurant in Nailsworth on Thursday, October 20 at 8pm.
