VOLUNTEERS have been busy labelling and stuffing envelopes as Minchinhampton parish works on creating its Neighbourhood Development Plan.

Helpers took turns in shifts to prepare NDP survey forms for distribution to all 2,700 households in Amberley, Brimscombe, Box and Minchinhampton town itself.

The forms are currently dropping through local letterboxes and should be returned, filled in, by October 23, 2016.

They can be sent back using an enclosed freepost envelope, or handed into the parish office at The Trap House in West End, Minchinhampton.

Alternatively the survey can be completed online at: www.minchinhamptonndp.com

The surveys will be analysed and the results used to help set the content of road shows which will be held in the parish in the New Year.

The NDP is a chance for people to give their views on their community, to shape its future, to build a vision for its villages, town and parish, and to make a difference in how the community works.

NDPs are important policy documents that, once adopted, will be taken into consideration when future planning decisions are made.
