HORSLEY Tip will be closed all day tomorrow, Friday April 7.
This emergency closure of the Pyke Lane Household Recycling Centre is due to essential roadworks on a nearby road.
Residents can find alternative household recycling centres on the Recycle For Gloucestershire website, www.recycleforgloucestershire.com.
In an effort to avoid queues, Gloucestershire County Council urged users try to plan visits during quieter times, between 10am-4pm.
There are several household recycling centres in the county, including Fosse Cross, Cirencester, and Hempsted in Gloucester.
Residents are asked not to use Thornbury Household Recycling Centre, which is based in South Gloucestershire.
The Pyke Quarry site will be open as normal from 9am Saturday morning.
