Photographer Simon Pizzey took these wonderful pictures of Winter Solstice celebrations on Painswick Beacon.
A number of people invovled in the celebrations are from Mermaid Chunky, who are putting on a Winter Solstice event tonight at the Brunel Engine shed.
There is a procession from the SVA to the shed and will begin at 7.30pm.
