INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed flamenco teacher and performer Puela Lunaris will be arriving in Stroud next week for two unmissable events.
Puela is the founder of The Chanelar Flamenco Project, a program which works to rescue aspects of Flamenco in danger extinction.
On Friday, February 16, native Spaniard Puela will be sharing some incredible Flamenco secrets at the Star Anise Arts Cafe on Gloucester Street.
During the evening audience members will have the rare opportunity to watch part one of her Sacred Spain documentary trilogy, and enjoy a Q&A with Puela, gaining an insider’s view of Flamenco as an oral tradition, a rite, a way of life.
The following day Puela will teach fascinating barefoot Flamenco at Stroud Yoga Space.
All levels are welcome, and the day long workshop is open to both men and women.
