FOUR months after George Holloway was found with serious injuries outside Merrywalks multi-storey his family are still seeking answers ahead of his inquest.

His family have released CCTV footage from October 21, showing George minutes before he was found with serious injuries on Rowcroft Retreat in Stroud in the hope that someone might come forward.

George had been at The Lord John pub with friends before being spotted at the Merrywalks multi-storey car park, not long before being found with serious injuries.

Despite receiving medical attention, George died at the scene and his family are still trying to determine what happened that night.

George’s sister Nicola made an appeal for information: “This is the last sighting we have of George, as you can see he is walking out of the car park at approximately 9:51pm.

“If you were in the area, or you saw George please come forward to help us piece together what happened.

“There were plenty of people around this area at the time - there must be at least one person who saw my little brother,” she said.

Despite receiving medical attention, George died at the scene.

An inquest was opened into George’s death last October before being adjourned until March 8 to allow the coroner to complete their investigations.

When asked about the case a police spokesperson said: “Our professional standards department has received a complaint in relation to the case and it would be inappropriate for us to comment further while it is investigated.

“In relation to George’s death we have completed our investigation and are not treating the circumstances as suspicious.”
