INJURY has forced Andrew Selby to pull out of his European flyweight title fight later this month.

The St Joseph’s star was due to face Vincent Legrand for the vacant belt in Douai, France on Saturday, April 28.

It is not yet known whether the bout is going to be rescheduled or the European Boxing Union will find a replacement for the Welshman.

If it does go ahead at a later date then it will bring together two of the hottest talents in the flyweight division.

Former amateur ace Selby, 29, has won all 10 of his contests since turning pro, picking up three belts already.

Frenchman Legrand, 26, also boasts and unblemished record in the paid ranks with no defeats in 26 outings – 16 of his victories have come inside the distance.
