OFFICERS from Gloucestershire Constabulary are investigating a report of an incident in Stroud on Bank Holiday Monday, 7 May, in which a 28-year-old woman was raped.
They are appealing for witnesses to come forward would like to speak to anyone who would have been near the Edgemoor Inn car park between 4.00pm and 6.00pm and seen anything suspicious.
In particular the officers would like to speak to the driver and passenger of a silver car towing a trailer who may have important information.
Anyone with information is asked to call Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101 quoting incident 404 of 7 May.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on bail until 30 May.
