A 35 year old Stroud man who threatened to put a bullet through a Cinderford woman's head has been ordered to pay more than £500 in costs, fines and compensation.
Magistrates in Cheltenham also imposed a community order on Peter Smith, of Summer Street, Stroud, and made a two year restraining order requiring him to stay away from his victim.
Smith pleaded guilty to harassing Samatha Smith in Cinderford by sending her WhatsApp and voice messages in one of which he threatened to put a bullet through her head.
He was fined £267, ordered to pay her £80 compensation, an £85 surcharge and £85 costs.
