A MUCH-LOVED cafe is set to re-open in Painswick after it closed in March following a change in ownership.

New owners Alistair Spiers, and his fiancee Gemma Marks, with dog Poppy are preparing to re-open The Patchwork Mouse later this month.

There will be changes in character in line with the ideas of the new ownership, but the business will still serve teas, coffees, cakes and specials for children and dogs.

Of course all this will be sourced from high quality producers within the community.

In addition, Alistair and Gemma bring with them a range of experience to run the community eatery.

Alistair has worked in hospitality for Wembley Stadium, Tottenham Hotspurs, PSG and the Americas Cup in Bermuda.

This combined with Gemma's background in media and events for London Fashion Week, ITV and Coca Cola provide them with a wealth of experience.

So, head down to The Patchwork Mouse located in New Street, Painswick for its re-opening later this month.
