Police face down swans in Stroud
Stroud Police dealt with a group of particularly fearsome suspects today: swans.
Officers found themselves escorting a pair of swans and their cygnets across Bath Road near Wallbridge.
In a reference to the 2007 comedy Hot Fuzz, Stroud Police tweeted to Simon Pegg: "It's more than one swan, actually"

"Upon facing the large swan, PC Wilson didn't flap, choosing instead to calmly feather them across the road safely to the canal," Stroud Police later told the SNJ.
