A 24-YEAR-OLD woman from Thornbury has been handed a curfew after sending threatening texts and Facebook messages.
Kia Hughes of Stafford Crescent, Thornbury, appeared before Bristol Magistrates Court on Friday, July 20, charged with sending the messages to two separate people on May 23 this year.
Having indicated a guilty plea to the charges at a previous hearing in June, Hughes was handed the four-week community order which requires her to wear an electronic tag and remain at her home address from 11pm to 6am.
She was also ordered by the court to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £50 in court costs.
