A STROUD artist is displaying her new paintings at an upcoming exhibition.
Frances Clark-Stone is holding the event at Ruskin Mill Gallery, Nailsworth.
The exhibition is entitled Sanctuary: A place of refuge, safety and peace.
Much of Frances' latest work includes responses to familiar places in the area such as Stroud Cemetery.
Most of the paintings, a mixture of abstract and figurative works, depict Stroud and its surrounding hills and valleys.
Beginning on Friday, August 10 the Old Bristol Road gallery is open every day from 10-4pm until Thursday, August 30.
