Planned roadworks in the South West: weekly summary for Monday 10 September to Sunday 16 September 2018.
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Bristol
M49 Avonmouth: new junction scheme
Narrow lanes in place until 30 September 2018.
M4 junction 18 to 17: resurfacing Eastbound carriageway will be closed between the slip roads overnight from 10pm on 14 September until 6am on15 September.
Diversion will be clearly signed.
M5 junction 17 to 18: Driver information scheme
Southbound carriageway will be closed nightly, 9pm to 6am, on 15 and 16 September.
Diversion will be clearly signed.
Devon
A38 Deep Lane to Marsh Mills, Plymouth: drainage work
Lane closures and a 50mph speed limit will be in place until October 2018.
M5 junction 28: resurfacing
Southbound carriageway between slip roads will be closed overnight, from 9pm on 13 September until 6am on 14 September.
Southbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight from 10pm on 14 September until 6am on 15 September.
Diversions will be clearly signed.
Cornwall
A30 Loggans Moor to Treswithian, west of Redruth: drainage work Westbound carriageway will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 12 September to 24 September.
Diversion will be clearly signed
Gloucestershire
A40 Elmbridge Court roundabout: remedial work
Daytime lane closures will be in place, 9.30am to 3.30pm, until mid-September.
Somerset
M5 junction 21- 22: resurfacing Southbound carriageway will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am (9pm Weds) from 10 September to 12 September.
Clearly signed diversion will be in place.
M5 junction 25-26: resurfacing Southbound carriageway will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am (9pm Weds) from 10 September to 12 September.
Carriageway between the slip roads will be closed overnight from 8pm on 13 September until 8am on 15 September.
Clearly signed diversion will be in place.
