MEMBERS of the public will have a chance to use up their remaining apples in a variety of creative ways while meeting new people at an event in Stroud.

While socialising attendees will be able to juice and press apples, while learning how to make apple cakes and other delicious recipes.

For those who like their apple juice with a kick Stroud Valleys Project will be there to show those present how to make scrumpy.

Attendees are asked to bring their own apples, a strong bag to carry home juice, clean bottles with screw top or pop top lids and pickling jars.

The event is a meet and connect social event for all aged over 55 years of age.
