Dogs descended on a church in Stroud at the weekend for a special animal service.
St Laurence's Church let its congregation bring along pets to the Sunday service to celebrate World Animal Day.
This international day of action for animal rights and welfare was on October 4, the feast day of Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.
The vicar even blessed some of the dogs.
