Police have announced that the motorcyclist involved in this morning's accident on the A46 died at the scene.
The accident, which happened on the major road at just after 6.30am, after a car is believed to have been in a crash with a motorcycle.
Emergency services attended the scene and closed the road between the A420 Cold Ashton roundabout and the A4 London Road West while they attended to the casualties.
A police spokesperson said that the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was treated at the scene but sadly died shortly afterwards.
Investigators are currently examining the scene of the accident.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident.
