POLICE have launched an appeal in attempt to find two men who were interrupted while attempting to break into a van in Stroud last Thursday.

The van was parked in a car park at the Stratford Road end of Paganhill Lane, when the attempted break-in happened at just before 5pm on Thursday, October 11.

Officers are keen to speak to two men in connection with the crime who are both described as white, of 'big appearance', with dark hair and possibly wearing blue or brown clothing.

Additionally police are hoping that members of the public may have seen a silver or grey coloured Citroen hatch back type car leaving the area in a hurry.

It may have possibly left the area via Farmhill Lane, Stroud.

Anyone with any information who may be able to help the police with enquiries should call the Police on 101 and quote incident 339/11.
