TWO Cotswold MP’s went head to head in a special Brexit debate at a care home in Cirencester.

Aura Care Living’s Stratton Court played host to the lively debate, with Cheltenham MP Alex Chalk representing remain and Cotswold stalwart Sir Geoffrey Clifton Brown MP representing leave.

This was part of the Cirencester Business Club breakfast, with over 40 in attendance to listen to the issues that will affect the Cotswolds and the country as a whole when a deal is eventually done.

Sir Geoffrey said: “There were so many here as it is the burning issue at the moment. Agriculture, commerce, the Irish border and international trade are all items we discussed with Alex and I, agreeing on many, we are colleagues after all.”

Aura care Living’s CEO Linda Lloyd was mpressed with the turn out and discussion.

She said: “It was interesting to hear so many different views on Brexit.”
