St Laurence’s Church
The history of one of Stroud's most important companies will be explored in an upcoming talk.
Dr Ray Wilson will present the illustrated talk on TH & J Daniels engineering in Stroud, at the next meeting of Stroud Local History Society on November 15.
A family firm for more than 120 years, Daniels used to be one of the largest employers in the area.
Prior to the talk the society are holding their Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm in St Laurence's Church Hall.
Entry is £3.50 for visitors and £2.50 for members.
Chris Daniels’ book about the firm will be on sale for £12.
