Police are appealing for information after a house was burgled in Stroud last week.

Thieves are believed to have broken into the property at some point over last week, from Saturday, October 27, to Saturday, November3.

The property is in the area of Farmhill Lane and the Main Road, Whiteshill, near the junction of Barrowfield Road , Farmhill, Stroud .

Officers are asking members of the public to let them know if they saw anyone who does not frequent the area under normal circumstances , or vehicles that they don't recognise.

Alternatively, police suggest that neighbours to the property may have been disturbed by an usual noise.

PCSO Gary Lynch, from the Stroud Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "This is a timely reminder as we are now into the dark nights, please ensure adequate measures are taken to protect property, garages, sheds and vehicles."
