David Drew's caseworkers are holding a surgery tomorrow (Thursday, November 8).

They will be in Stonehouse to support constituents in need.

The surgery will be held at Stonehouse Community Centre on Thursday 8 November from 1.30pm to 3pm.

“My caseworkers have already directly helped more than 1,000 people who live here,” said David, Labour MP for the Stroud constituency.

“But we know there are many people who need assistance, which is why the caseworkers will be going ‘on tour’ this autumn.”

David’s small team of caseworkers can help constituents with a vast range of issues, from benefit problems, housing, accessing health services to immigration..

There is no need to book a place, just drop in.

Other surgeries will be held at the same time in Hardwicke Village Hall on November 22 and Chalford Parish Council offices on December 6.

Laurie Davies, senior caseworker said: “Often casework involves helping people who are vulnerable or at a crisis point in their lives.

“We see some of the real difficulties that increasing numbers of people face and it can be heart-breaking at times.

“We can’t promise to provide easy solutions but there have been many times when we’ve managed to make a difference.”

David also holds regular monthly surgeries in the constituency. Appointments can be made by emailing david.drew.mp@parliament.uk, or calling 01453 765484.
