A BEATLES tribute band made an impromptu appearance on the steps of Stroud's Subscription Rooms at the weekend to advertise their upcoming concert.

This is will not be the first time they have visited the Five Valleys - after the original band made two trips to the Sub Rooms in 1962.

Famously, the first of these shows was proclaimed to be the 'worst gig in Beatles history' on BBC2s Culture Show.

However, All You Need Is The Beatles will hope that this is not the case for themselves as they take on the Sub Rooms for the ninth straight year in what is expected to be a sell-out show.

They are expected to present a special performance from the White Album in the first half of the show and The Beatles Greatest Hits in the second.

The Gloucestershire-based tribute band will perform in Stroud's Subscription Rooms in George Street on November 24 from 8pm.

Tickets can be purchased for £14 from subscriptionrooms.org.uk
