The Stroud Story Party returns after a break for the summer.

Four local people will be sharing stories from their lives, on the theme of Lost and Found, at the Open House Hall on Sunday, December 2 at 3pm. Kesty Jakes, pictured below, is one of the storytellers, and will be sharing the story of a lifelong aspiration which has finally been fulfilled.

Story Party grew out of a public speaking course run by local actor Adam Fotheringham and is now in its third year.

Previous Story Parties have attracted good audiences, so the advice is to turn up early to secure a seat (entry is now free, and the audience are invited to donate).

Star Anise will be open afterwards for tea and cake.
