Octopus drama group will be performing Robin Hood in January.

The Sherwood Forest pantomime has been written for Octopus by Peta Maurice, and is directed by Adrian Dennis.

Robin Hood will come riding through the glen along with his merry men and Friar Tuck, who has gone vegetarian with alarming consequences.

He will continue his crusade to defeat the wicked Sherriff of Nottingham, dethrone Prince John and win the hand of the fair Maid Marion.

The panto is being performed at Christ the King Church Hall on Castle Street, Thornbury.

There are shows from Wednesday, January 9 – Friday, January 11 at 7.30pm as well as tow shows on Saturday, January 12 at 11am and 2.30pm.

Tickets are £7 for adults and £5 for concessions and children.
