Weather warnings are in place across the country for this weekend.
Amber and yellow weather warnings are in place for ice, snow, wind and rain.
A yellow warning for snow and ice covers parts of Gloucestershire.
This is in place for 24 hours from 9am on Saturday (December 15).
Periods of freezing rain could lead to ice forming on roads and pavements, making conditions dangerous for travelling.
Temperatures will struggle to stay above freezing for much of the weekend.
Gritters will be out across the county in preparation.
