A second accident on the A429 this morning has prompted police to issue a warning about icy roads across the Cotswolds.
The crash has partially blocked the A429 in both directions at Kemble Enterprise Park. Although traffic appears to be coping well.
Earlier this morning an accident caused a lorry to shed a two tonne cable further north on the A40 junction with the A429 near Northleach.
Specialist equipment has been requested to clear the massive cable and the road remains partially blocked at this time.
Police have urged drivers to be careful on the roads today, as a police spokesperson said that there were a number of reports of vehicles leaving the road.
"Be careful on the roads today, we are currently dealing with multiple reports of vehicles leaving the road in the Cotswold's due to surface ice," the spokesperson said.
