The 66 bus service between Stroud and Cheltenham is going to be temporarily diverted this month while road work is carried out.

From Wednesday, January 9 to Tuesday, January 15 the A40 Montpellier Terrace will be closed for resurfacing between 9.30am to 3.30pm.

On the inbound journey to Cheltenham, Stagecoach's buses will turn left onto the A40 from Bath Road, then at the Suffolk Square/Park Place junction traffic lights, they will turn right onto Suffolk Square where they will then come out at the Rotunda.

This will be the same for the outbound journey to Stroud but in reverse.

Montpellier Terrace has become the main road used by drivers getting across Cheltenham because of the trial closure of Boots Corner to make the area more pedestrian-friendly.
