Businesses and the community have been invited to give their views on the Cotswold Canals restoration.

Stroud organisation Creative Sustainability want to ensure that the community is at the heart of the consultation - they will work with people, community groups and businesses over the next few months.

Stroud District Council has invested £3 million in the restoration of the Stroudwater Canal.

To get involved or share your views about the canal restoration go to Stroud Subscription Rooms on March 1 between noon and 4pm or March 2 from 10am to 4pm.

The first of the meetings will take place at Whitminster Village Hall on January 26 from noon until 4pm.

Alternatively, you can visit Stonehouse Community Centre on March 9 between 2pm and 6pm or on March 10 from noon to 4pm.

Another meeting will take place in Frampton at Cadbury Hall on Saturday, February 9 between noon and 4pm.

There will also be a meet at Eastington Village Hall on Saturday, February 2 from noon to 2pm.
