The Prince Albert will be showing one of the top 50 films of all time this Wednesday, and one of the original crew members will be joining the audience too.

Lucky audience members will also be able to ask Simon Hinkley, who was assistant director on the film, questions following the screening.

My Beautiful Laundrette, is a 1985 British comedy-drama film centred around the life of Omar, a young Pakistani man, after he is given a rundown laundrette.

The Hanif Kureishi film explores racial tensions during the Thatcher years, and was nominated for, and won, a number of awards.

The film will be shown on a HD projector at The Prince Albert in Rodborough on Wednesday, January 16 - it starts at 7.30pm and costs £4 per person.
