Environmental activists from Greenpeace are set to campaign outside Sainsbury's this weekend.
They hope to persuade Sainsbury's to reduce their use of single-use plastics - which they say are 'pointless'.
Greenpeace activists from Stroud will ask shoppers for any of their unnecessary and 'ridiculous' packaging - this will then be brought back to the store.
The environmental group has called on members of the community to join their campaign on Saturday, January 19 between 11am and 1pm.
Activists will meet at Sainsbury’s in Dudbridge Hill, Stroud - for more details see greenwire.greenpeace.org
