A man that threw remembrance poppy wreaths in to a road in Swindon has been jailed for eight weeks.
Police officers came across the scene at the Cenotaph on Regent Street, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Ashwani Kumar, 54 of no fixed address, was then charged with outraging public decency after the incident.
He appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court today and was sentenced to eight weeks in prison.
