A 21-year-old man has been given a £200 fine as well as a six month suspended prison sentence for reckless driving with a baby in his car.
Drew Smith, of Pear Tree Hey, drove a Mazda 3 dangerously on the Ring Road on May 6 of 2018.
The court said he ‘intentionally drove dangerously’ and deliberately disregarded the safety of his passengers, one of which was a baby.
Smith pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a victim services charge of £115 and a Crown Prosecution Services charge of £85.
He also received a two year driving ban and a curfew for 13 weeks.
It was also decided Smith would carry out 200 hours of community service.
