Tickets for one of TV’s most loved naturalists will go on sale at 9a, this omorning, and fans are advised that to grab them quick as they'll sell out fast.
Steve Backshall, best-known for his lead role in the BBC’s Deadly 60, will join thousands of nature lovers in July as part of Stroud Festival of Nature.
Stroud Festival of Nature will run from June to late August this year, but one of the festivals most exciting days, July 6, will see a visit from the wildlife presenter.
Mr Backshall has famously been part of BBC expedition teams in Lost Land of the Tiger, Lost Land of the Volcano and Lost Land of the Jaguar.
He also swam with the infamous Great White Shark whilst filming the show Swimming With Monsters.
His Stroud appearance (July 6) will coincide with the Children’s Festival, both in Stratford Park.
Steve Roberts, organiser for Stroud Festival of Nature, said that he expected Steve Backshall's event would be another great thing to see at this year's festival.
Tickets are £25 for adults and £15 for under 18 year olds and are available from Stratford Park Leisure Centre, Stratford Rd, Stroud GL5 4AF from 9am on Wednesday, March 13.
