*THE Tavern in Kemble on Monday night’s from 9pm Open Mic. This is open to all abilities and genres of music. There is a group of people covering songs and playing their own music and they are very supportive and welcoming.

On Tuesday nights from 9pm Skittles. Fun and relaxed no previous experience necessary.

*THIS Sunday, January 27 there will be an early morning Holy Communion service in Tarlton at 8am.

At 10am in Kemble a Benefice Service will be held.

The congregation will have the opportunity to browse 50 years of the Parish News (Thameshead parishes of Kemble, Ewen. Poole Keynes and Somerford Keynes with Shorncote) whilst enjoying some light refreshments.

The first copy was printed in January 1969. Over the years the magazine which is compiled by volunteers has struggled from time to time but this is a great milestone to acknowledge. As always any volunteers are indeed welcome to offer their services even just now and again please email parishnewsthb@gmail.com

*IT HAS been announced that Mark Wilton is willing to take over from the retiring Kemble church warden Tony Ferris at the next annual general meeting in April. He will join Stephen Lambert-Humble who is already in post.

*IF YOU haven’t booked your tickets yet for the Murder Mystery evening in Kemble village hall on Saturday, February 2 please do so quickly as they sell out fast. Contact Pat and Tony Ferris on 7707856 or email tonyferris@btinternet.com
