A POPULAR cook shop in Cirencester has been taken over by a cookware specialist and closed this week to make way for a new product range.

Steamer Trading Cookshop was taken over by ProCook at the end of January, who have made a commitment to invest in the brand.

The shop will continue trading under the Steamer Trading name but will have a new layout inside.

The new owners are also promising that the shop, on Dyer Street in Cirencester, will receive a boost of 100's of new, exclusive cookware and tableware products.

Daniel O’Neill, owner of ProCook, said: “We are delighted to announce this news and see it as a fantastic opportunity for Steamer Trading and ProCook to grow both brands.

"Our focus will continue to be on providing excellent value for money, great service and innovative high-quality homewares.”

The store closed at the end of trading on Sunday, February 3 and will reopen on Thursday, February 7.

The new product ranges will run in addition to many of the brand names and best sellers already stocked, such as Le Creuset, Emma Bridgewater, Cuisinart, and Stojo.
