NOMINATIONS are coming in for the sought after customer service award but you still have a chance to have your say and nominate your favourite business.

The Wilts and Glos Standard is once again the sponsor for the Customer Service Award category of the annual Cirencester Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, which take place in May.

Does your chippy dish up your cod with a smile alongside the chips? Perhaps your coffee barista brightens your morning with a welcome chat?

Don’t forget that service doesn’t just apply to retail or hospitality – it could be a fantastic solicitor, window cleaner, bank or estate agent that you would like to nominate.

The Customer Service Award is the only category voted for by the public, so it is even more important that our readers get voting.

Nominations received so far are a mixture of shops and businesses in Cirencester, and there is as yet no clear winner out in front so the field is still wide open.

Previous winners have included Dyer Street Chiropractor & Physiotherapy Clinic, Cafe Mosaic, Cirencester Sales & Lettings and Perry Bishop & Chambers.

If you know a business or individual that consistently gives outstanding service, then consider nominating them for this prestigious award.

The Cirencester Chamber of Commerce Business Awards are in their ninth year and include categories such as Team of the Year, Business of the Year and Apprentice of the Year.

The Customer Service Award is a chance for us to shout about how great our town is. We are relying on you to let us know who went the extra mile last year.

Wilts and Glos Editor John Wilson said: “We are so pleased that our readers once again have a chance to reward fantastic customer service."

Winners and runners up are announced at the Awards Dinner on May 10 at The Kings Head Hotel.
