As tickets for Nile Rodgers and Chic look to be the biggest concert in Gloucestershire this Summer we look at what you need to know, and when you need to set your alarm to make sure that you get tickets.

Nile will be appearing at Kingsholm Stadium in Gloucester on Sunday, June 9, with one of the biggest bands in music history - Chic.

A truly exceptional artist, Nile Ridgers is a multiple GRAMMY-winning composer producer, arranger and guitarist.

As the co-founder of Chic, Rodgers has generated chart-topping hits like Le Freak and sparked the advent of hip-hop with Good Times.

He worked with David Bowie on Lets Dance, Diana Ross on Upside Down and I’m Coming Out and Madonna on Material Girl and Like A Virgin.

Additionally he has sold over 300 million albums and 50 million singles worldwide while his innovative, trendsetting collaborations with Daft Punk, Avicii, Sigala, Disclosure and Sam Smith.

Expect to hear some of the best-known pop anthems from the last four decades. With more than 200 production credits to his name, the scope of Nile Rodgers’ peerless influence is undeniable.

Tickets will be on sale at 8am on Wednesday 20th February via http://musicplussport.com.

A ticket presale will be available to Gloucester Rugby Club members and 1873 members at 8am on Tuesday, February 19.

Tickets are priced at £46.75 (includes a booking fee) for standing and from £52.25 seating (includes booking fee). Boxes are £150 which include lounge and hospitality access.
