A road in Nailsworth is re-opening shortly after a water main burst.
Cones and signs this morning had barred the entrance to The W - the road that leads up the hill to Box and Minchinhampton - while Severn Trent Water fixed the leaky pipe.
A spokesperson for Severn Trent has now said: “Our teams have completed work repairing a leak this morning on George Street, and to keep our engineers and other road users safe, work was completed with a section of the road closed.
“We’re really sorry if this caused any inconvenience, but as the pipe is repaired, everything will be put back to normal with the road back open very shortly.”
