SPRING is upon us and we have lots of seasonal stalls returning to the market in the coming weeks, including Julian Harvard this Saturday with his first freshly cut flowers of the season.

Look out for a delicious new apple and quince juice being launched on the Day’s Cottage stall this Saturday.

In previous years they’ve made a limited number of bottles, which some of you may have enjoyed.

However, in 2018 there was such a bumper crop of quinces, Helen and Dave were able to make enough bottles to merit making a bit of a song and dance about it.

The quinces add a rich fragrance and refreshing perfume to the juice and enhanced by a new label design, create a bottle worthy of any special occasion.

They invite you to come along on Saturday and try it for yourself.

Elsewhere Seitan’s grill are coming to their first market this week offering vegan alternatives to junk food using only the finest local organic ingredients, and the freshest local produce to create homemade classics.
