EVEN though it is over wordy I agree with Culture Secretary Jeremy Wright’s article about the importance of a local newspaper, but he overlooked that the content needs to be sparky and interesting, not to act like a vicar who commands you to kneel and ask for forgiveness then clouts you on the head with the bible, writes reader Molly Roberts.
SNJ letters page used to be full of interesting and controversial points of view before 50 per cent of it was taken up with oversized unimpressive pics.
What letters are squeezed into the left over space seem tame.
