A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after a collision involving a motorcycle near Stroud yesterday.
The incident happened at around 2.50pm on the A46 Stroud Road just outside of the village of Painswick, near to the entrance of Painswick Rugby Club.
A man in his 60s suffered serious leg injuries and a head injury and was taken to Southmead Hospital, Bristol by air ambulance.
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries.
Road closures and diversions were in place until around 7pm while emergency services were at the scene.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.
