Dear Editor
Initially I was amused at the photograph on the front page of last weeks paper, it brought to mind a typical scene from the Comic Cuts of years gone by, or from a farce at the Whitehall Theatre, with the clown or stooges lined up ready to perform, but then the true significance struck home; the only person in the photograph not holding a paint brush or can of paint was the instigator of the eyesore at Brewery Court.
How is it that Wildmoor (Cirencester) are calling the shots, why are our local councils falling over backwards to appease them?
Have we forgotten how long it took Wildmoor to complete the work on the Cornhall and Kings Head?
If Brewery Court is going to be tarted up, it sounds ominous that nothing is going to be done short term.
Who and why is it that Wildmoor are the only ones taking on multi million pound contracts in the town?
Brian Robbins
Cirencester
