Following reports of a man making a suspicious approach to two children in Stroud this morning, police say they're now satisfied it was a misunderstanding.
The driver is understood to have come forward and officers say they believe that the situation had been a misunderstanding.
Concerns were originally raised when a mother said the man approached the children while she was on the phone when she was walking them to school.
The incident took place on Summer Street at around 8am today, Wednesday, March 20.
