A stretch of the A46 between Stroud and Nailsworth has been cleared after a crash partially blocked the road earlier today.
The accident, which is believed to involve two cars, happened at just before 1pm near Bear Hill.
At the time drivers reportedvery slow traffic due to the road being partially blocked.
A police spokesperson said: "At 12.50pm today (Monday) police were called by the ambulance service with a report of a two-vehicle collision at the A46 junction with Bear Hill, Rodborough.
"One driver was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for injuries which are not thought to be serious."
Both vehicles have since been recovered.
