A teenager from Tetbury who denies sexual offences against two different girls will stand trial in October.

At Gloucester Crown Court, Samuel Trinder, 19, of Romney Road, denied two offences of penetrative sexual activity with the two girls between February 7 and March 22 last year.

The girls, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were 14 and 15 at the time of the alleged offences.

Mr Trinder also denied two offences in relation to the 14-year-old girl, between the same dates, that he caused a child to engage in sexual activity.

He did however admit one offence each of sexual activity with a child against the two girls between February 7, 2018 and March 22, 2018, by 'sexually touching' the 15-year-old on at least five occasions and on at least ten occasions with the 14-year-old.

Judge Michael Cullum fixed the trial date for October 7 this year and granted Mr Trinder bail.
