LOUIS Cusack from Fairford had his long locks cut and shaved for the Little Princess Trust, Chris Roberts writes.

Louis’ mother, Sandra, runs Mr Ernest hairdressing salon in Fairford, so he did not have far to go to find a professional hairdresser to help him with the fundraising event.

Louis, 24, who has not had his hair so short since he was nine years old, raised over £1,100 for the charity that provides real hair wigs for children and young people with hair loss and funding for vital research into childhood cancer.

Louis said: “I was really pleased to help The Little Princess Trust. The most valuable gift is not the money, but the donation of real hair, which helps children undergoing treatment for cancer.”

Louis plans to grow his hair again for charity.
