THIS country stars, Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper, have triumphed again at The British Academy Television Craft Awards, scooping a BAFTA award for the second year in a row.

The Cirencester stars were announced as the winners of the Writer: Comedy category at last night's BAFTAs, for their comedy series This Country.

The series explores the lives of young people in modern rural Britain, focusing on cousins Kerry and Kurtan and their lives in the Cotswolds.

The British Academy Television Craft Awards celebrate the very best behind-the-scenes television talent in 2018.

The stars and the show triumphed last year at the BATFAs, winning the Breakthrough Talent award at the Television Craft awards and the Scripted Comedy award at the Television Awards. Daisy May Cooper also won an award in the Female Performance in a Comedy programmer category at the Television Awards.

This year's ceremony was hosted by Stephen Mangan at The Brewery, City of London, where presenters included Priyanga Burford, Greg Davies, Mel Giedroyc, Alex Kingston, Malachi Kirby, Bruce Oldfield and Michael Palin.
