A serial thief has been jailed after breaching his suspended sentence less than a week after it was imposed.
Ben Holloway, 41, of Westward Road, Ebley, stole £191 worth of No7 products from Boots in Stroud on April 23. He also used threatening or abusive words or behaviour.
He pleaded guilty to both charges at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on April 24.
Holloway also admitted breaching his suspended sentence imposed on April 17.
This was given to him after a string of thefts in Stroud between November and January.
He twice stole two bottles of Bombay Sapphire gin from Waitrose and also makeup from Superdrug, meat from Co-op and DVDs from Tesco.
The total value of the goods stolen in these thefts was £275.
Holloway also failed to turn up to court on February 14 and March 25.
He was given an eight-week prison sentence for his latest theft, and his 18-week suspended sentence was also activated for an overall sentence length of 26 weeks.
